Dr Rowen,

Recently a patient came in with a cold sore on her lip, crossing the vermillion border and creeping distally. I used 1cc of Ozone gas at 12ug. It resolved within days and hasn’t come back.

Also Currently doing 15% OG Neb for a Toxic Mold patient who states it’s helping her significantly…

"ozone would oxidize the lipid envelope of the virus to inactivate it. " We have noticed that the photosensitizer, Rose Bengal has a fast (within minutes) soothing effect on shingles sores and wondered what it was doing. RB catalyzes formation of singlet oxygen in the presence of light, and singlet oxygen is a significant oxidizing agent. Rose Bengal eye drops are used to visualize corneal damage, and this may be another off label use for it. It might be inconvenient to apply to certain places and get good exposure to light!

Try BHT for the HSV virus. I heard about this from Dave Asprey a short while back. Also a reference link.

When I briefly tried oral ozonated glycerin, it caused me to have a severe craving for sugar. I know this is not the norm. Do you know why it would have done this to me?

It is sweet. Might have stimulated an insulin response, lowering your blood glucose and causing a craving. Plausible reaction.

Anyone used this for chronic (years) sinus infection. Thinking it’s a biofilm. Maybe nebulizing?

Aaron's avatar

Yes, Dr Bridge swears by OG spray. Nebulizer for added benefit.

Is distilled water preferred over saline when nebulizing OG?

Robert Jay Rowen, MD's avatar

I prefer water for this.

Aaron's avatar

Yes! It’s a must due to the tonicity of OG! Otherwise you may pull extra fluid into the lungs.

Ora chalmers's avatar

As a preventative, do you suggest 1tsp orally or 5% nebulae

Robert Jay Rowen, MD's avatar

I think both work well.

At the end of dec i felt like i was coming down with something. It started as a tickle in my throat then progressed to a sore throat. I felt terrible and immediately started nebulizing OG and drinking more ozonated water. I immediately started feeling better then the bronchitis started coughing up tons of mucus. This went on for several weeks but what was interesting was that the mucus was in a large volume but a normal color not green or deep yellow like it normally is with bronchitis! Was this the flu, covid or a bad cold with lessened symptoms due to nebulizing OG? I think so! Dr Rowen do you know why por o3 does not sell oral OG in capsules anymore?

Robert Jay Rowen, MD's avatar

I believe they still do. Oral OG in capsules is a preferred form of treatment for gut bacterial overgrowth.

Fascinating. I wonder about its potential for topical use on skin, like healing burns or sun damage?

Robert Jay Rowen, MD's avatar

Outstanding potential in my opinion
