Thank you. Yes, leakage is an issue and methane is more problematic than CO2. So, I'd like to see some. objective study comparing both CO2 and methane release between gas stoves and electric stoves when considering the generation of the electricity of the stove. I am open to reconsideration.

I believe I was correct on school vaccinations, and certainly correct on COVID vaccines. So, why is the Left stating different?

The "Progressive Leftists" just blew up the Northstream II with Germany's OK! Now, that contaminated the sea and the atmosphere tremendously but that doesn't seem like a problem to them...

Once governments got involved in environmentalism, the goal was no longer about the environment. Like any statist solution, the goal is to gain power by selling utopian dreams to the gullible.

Here is another article pointing out that most stoves, even newer ones leak methane, even when they’re not turned on!

Dr Rowen, IF you are correct on the gas stove issue, why is the left stating different.?

I have not seen any convincing data that gas stoves poison the air, only that assertion, unsupported.

The odorizer in natural gas from the utility company is probably quite toxic in its unburned form, not when burned. Maybe traces of toxic if burned poorly in old fashioned pilot lights - but they were phased out decades ago. And even so - what about propane? No evidence has come my way that propane gas stoves were evaluated for this danger.

I am surprised that you support the use of gas stoves. They are a health and safety hazard. any number of studies have shown that using electricity generated from wind or solar or other low carbon sources, addresses climate change, and is also more efficient than the use of gas. Using gas results in methane leaks which are as much as 100 times more powerful as a sources of greenhouse gas, then even carbon dioxide.

Gas is also incredibly dangerous. Two apartment buildings in my community had explosions from gas leaks, resulting in the death of several people.
