I wrote both my senators weeks ago - and asked them not only to confirm RFK, but also to rally their colleagues. Both signaled their support for RFK, and one enthusiastically promised to do what I asked. He also indicated that media reports of dissention were overblown, and that he was fairly confident all of Trump's picks would go through.
Here's a clean link to a mamavation.com page which is the first of five pages of test results. I've narrowed it down to reports which include the keyword microplastics: https://www.mamavation.com/?s=microplastics . Salt is the title of the top right report on that first page. You can read it all for free. If you wish, you can also subscribe for free, but I choose to help support the work by a paid subscription.
Tamara Rubin, Lead Safe Mama, has expanded her product testing to now include foods. It's appalling what is being uncovered in our food supply - and not just food but supplements also. Unsafe levels of lead and/or Cadmium and/or arsenic and/or mercury are showing up in almost everything.
Thanks for your helpful reply. Yes, Tamara Rubin, the Lead Safe Mama, is testing many specific named products for heavy metals as you've listed. I also subscribe to her service, but mamavation.com often does more extensive testing, sometimes including microplastics, and because Dr Rowen mentioned microplastics in salt, mamavation came to mind. Last I read, Tamara is still searching for a prenatal vitamin formula free of those heavy metals. They are both worthy of my money support.
Just another tidbit to ponder - all that synthetic, plastic-based, cheap clothing? The polyester, nylon, and acrylic? Every time you wash and dry, "fiber" breakdown, aka as microplastic, enters the water and air.
Whenever possible, I buy certified organic cotton, hemp, linen, and other natural fibers in clothing, towels, bedding and even an organic mattress. Natural fiber scrub brushes for washing or brushing nearly anything are available. We, all of us, just need to keep in mind that minimizing or excluding plastics is worth our time and money.
According to those statistics, teabags dwarf all other sources by numerous orders of magnitude. A few years ago for about few months I was drinking sarsaparilla from Mexico or Central America sources, which has a strong vanilla like flavor, until I got tired of it. Previously I had tried Kunlun Snow Chrysanthemum Flower Tea (Snow Daisy) - Xue Ju Hua Cha but I got tired of that also. At least that was packaged loose in resealable plastic bags and I used a metal infuser. Although that variety is grown in China, it is really a species native to America, Coreopsis tinctoria Nutt.

Wow! What state is that?
Wow we have to watch what we eat so much these days! 😏😟

They are doing great work. Thanks for that link.
