I have been long at [friendly] odds with many of my contemporaries, including popular alternative medicine gurus. I’ve endorsed a diet low in meat and high in vegetables for decades. Some others, however, have pushed meat significantly more than I think is prudent.
Here we have a recent article that the diet I’ve espoused may have a lower risk of cancer. They followed almost a half million adults in the UK aged 40-70 who did not have cancer at the outset.
