You are fed lots of good information on cholesterol and lipies fron the legend media, and also a ton of disinformation. The latter is mostly to terrorize you into taking toxic chemicals to poison your liver’s ability to make this crucial molecule, necessary for ALL cell mambranes.
I’ve told you that I don’t consider cholesterol over 200 to be dangerous in itself. In fact, levels from 220-240 should not throw you into a panic. My parents, now resting in peace, were literally terrorized by their cardiologists over statin therapies for their cholesterol of 230 which was in the IDEAL range for all-cause mortality. It took me hours to talk them out of it. Both made it to 97 years young and with good brain function.
There are lots of supplemental alternatives to statins. But I like to look to diet and food ahead of everything. You know that I am vegetarian (mostly for spiritual but also for health reasons). There is one specific vegetable I eat virtually every day. Here’s why.
