The Science of Essential Fatty Acids and the Toxic Effects of Adulterated Fatty Acids on Health
#30 Part 4a The Rowen Premium Report
Dear Subscriber,
Here is the final installment of my series on essential fatty acids, also called parent essential oils. This was a Power Point presentation given by Brian Peskin, my fatty acid mentor before a professional audience. I received it in PDF and had to convert it to Word to get it suitable for posting here. In the conversion, many typos were generated, especially with “ti” in words to symbols such as > or @ or others. I have tried to fix them, but some persist. Sorry about that. Nevertheless, all the information and presentation should be suitable for your comprehension. If you see a strange symbol, consider replacing it with “ti” For instance, “inflamma>on” is really “inflammation”. Please excuse the typos and formatting errors. I am not savvy in these matters.
It will take you a bit to get through the slides. There is excellent information here and more support for eschewing marine oils and going with the real parent oils, which come from plants. Remember that it is not a good idea to heat any unsaturated oil.
Also, I have been asked about consuming nuts, raw, roasted, soaked.
Roasted nuts should be out. Their oils can/will be damaged. Raw nuts are fine in general. Almonds have a skin on them the can be irritating to some, and contains lectins. I prefer to “awaken” almonds and other raw nuts by soaking in water. This germinates them to an extent releasing more nutrients. And, in the case of almonds, you can use your tongue to maneuver off the skin so that you don’t have to swallow it. I think soaked almonds are simply excellent.
I will be writing just a bit less over the coming holiday. I wish all of you a joyous holiday with your family or friends or whoever you spend wonderful time with.
Please enjoy the presentation below by Peskin. I hope it will rest your mind about essential fatty acids and the problems with marine oils, which are NOT essential.

PS Substack is not letting me publish this in full, so I will break it apart in hopes it can be processed. Thank you for your understanding.
