Dear Subscriber,
I have good news and sad news. The first good news is that my interview on essential fatty acids with incredible scientific research pearls is now posted online. You can visit
to see this podcast with Prof. Brian Peskin, essential oil guru for a litany of surprises on marine oil problems. You will learn that we need about 8 mg of the longer chain omega oils daily but the pundits are pushing pharmacological dose capsules of these very vulnerable oils up to 500 times this level.
The second good news is that my favorite olive oil is available right now, and at a small discount (see below). It is the Mission Classic from the historic Berkeley Olive Grove in northern California. This oil has the highest level of polyphenols of any olive oil I have looked at. Lectin guru Stephen Gundry, whom I highly respect, markets an olive oil he says is high in the beneficial compounds. However, sadly his company refused to provide me an analysis after I purchased several bottles. Obviously, I did not get more. (Incidentally, that did not diminish my respect for him with his work on lectins, diet, gut and more. I have read most if not all his books and really like them).
Olive oil is a superfood.
