Dr. Rowen,

I live in the same town where you practice. My fiancee and I both abstained from the jab and have been following the covid hysteria closely from the start. From March 2020 I began tracking the county's covid data from their online app, storing their numbers in my own spreadsheet in order to interpret the stats in a way that made more sense to me.

From 3/1/20 to 6/21/23, the recovery rate from covid here was 99.38%. 24.3% of our population had reported having covid to the county. The overall likelihood of dying from covid here across ALL ages is 0.11%. Less than 4% of the reported cases required hospitalization.

These numbers have served to reinforce our decision to resist the jab, even though we both had covid last year during the Omicron wave; our flu-like symptoms lasted less than 3 days and we've not been sick since. These numbers also made me question every action taken by the State in its response to this "pandemic", from lockdowns, the destruction of our economy, erosion of our civil liberties, and mounting distrust in our institutions (particularly the medical systems) to mask and [attempted] vaccine mandates, the latter of which threatened my very ability to earn a living in the Autumn of 2021.

When I drive around town seeing people walking around outside on sunny days wearing masks, it's all I can do to keep from rolling the window down and shouting "idiot!" out the window. The emotion that follows that urge is always sadness at how the government sci-op has damaged all these emotionally-fragile, logic-challenged and incurious people. And it reminds me of how few people have the fortitude to resist the media barrages and fear campaigns foisted upon us on a regular basis since 2020. Loneliness and anger are the secondary and tertiary emotions associated with those observations.

To see it all coming around again is both anticipated and infuriating.

Thank you for all you are doing to report on issues of grave concern to our health.

Thank you for your consistent support of actual science and the logic of evaluating the realities of "covid 19."

I am an unvaccinated 81-year-old who is not obese and in good health, but also a cancer survivor, non-Hodgkins's lymphoma, prostate and multiple skin melanomas. I was exposed to covid 19 several times and had a flu-like bout at one point. I resisted the vaccines based on what I felt was information showing it wasn't a vaccine as you have pointed out. I was able to convince the majority of my family to abstain as well, but my obese younger brother and an older uncle were both vaccinated and both had multiple bouts with covid and both died a few months ago. It is truly sad that politics are at the root of the terrible decisions and actions of our governments and they may repeat it now.

On the face of it, it sounds absolutely ridiculous to announce "today" that mask mandates will return in one month. Setting aside the non-efficacy and likely harms of wearing these masks, does that even make sense to be able to predict that 29 days from now, masks are not recommended, but on the magical 30th day from now, absolutely necessary?

What is the logic of any of this? Not what they want us to think.

Again, thanks for your very easy to understand explanation of the difference between the jab and a vaccine.
