Progressive Agenda Now Infecting Medical Education to Your Detriment
#109 2023 The Rowen Report
Dear Reader,
I see some problems up ahead in the emerging crops of student physicians. I am seeing reports that scientific training is being replaced in part with DEI training (diversity, equity and inclusion”. Even my own older peer group has been reporting to me that recent continuing education is diluted with DEI
I have to admit this is scary. I know that the Leftist agenda is attempting to teach that all white people are racist, and all people of color are victims. I don’t know where Jews fit in. They are of all races, yet if of European extraction, they might be identified automatically as racist, and “dirty” and “colonists” worthy only of being gassed and subjected to massacres, while all other societies are given a pass at taking out indigenous people.
My own spiritual path teaches that we are all children of God. Perhaps better stated: We all are part of God. My fingers are separate and have their own identity, but they all are part of me. If one finger hurts another, it would be hurting me. I see the same in my dealings with all children of God. I cannot see the connection between us as easily as I can with my fingers, but I can feel it. To me, the ancients knew this, and this philosophy is the source of the Golden Rule, “do unto others as you would have others do unto you”. Those who hurt others are hurting the greater structure of the universe. That does not mean that we should not defend ourselves from another human gone malignant as my finger should tolerate the presence of another finger with, say, melanoma. We have a duty to self defense.
Personally, I would not want to be attended by anyone whose true education was diluted with the establishment’s ideas of social justice. I would rather be attended by someone who took the original Hippocratic oath rather than the new inventions of today pledging loyalty to “evidence-based medicine” and DEI.
The Progressive agenda has infected medicine even beyond its default to synthetic petrochemical pharmaceutical snake oil. It is infecting medicine with the same political agenda bent on destabilizing society and dehumanizing us. I want my doctor to excel at medical expertise. Not the agenda of the New World Order or WEF.
To Maintaining Our Connection to our Creator,
Robert Jay Rowen, MD
Elite medical schools are taking as much of an interest in training advocates for “diversity, equity and inclusion,” or DEI, as they are in training physicians. As this report shows, DEI advocacy begins during the medical school admissions process, long before a student ever sets foot on campus.
A review of the admissions process at 50 of the top-ranked medical schools found that 36 asked applicants their views on, or experience in, DEI efforts. Many were overt in asking applicants if they agreed with certain statements about racial politics and the causes of disparate health outcomes.
This focus on identity politics is not limited to elite medical schools. Schools outside the top-ranked tier are also probing for information about candidates’ attitudes toward race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, and more. The goal, it appears, is to turn ideological support for health equity and social justice initiatives into a credential that increases an applicant’s chance of acceptance, to screen out dissenters, and to signal to all applicants that they are expected to support this new cause.

The report states that the new emphasis should center around “values such as anti-oppression, anti-racism, and social justice, rather than medical expertise.”
By “de-centering medical expertise,” the anti-racism experts suggest courses focusing on “anti-racism,” “anti-oppression,” “social justice and equity,” “inclusive compassion,” and “decolonization.”
That includes the perils of capitalism and other “power structures”:
“Anti-racism is deeply rooted in anti-oppression, which analyzes the world through the lens of power, including the historical and ongoing structures of racism, white supremacy, settler colonialism, heteropatriarchy, capitalism, ableism, classism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and more. Anti-racism and antioppression call for action on the manifestations of oppression based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, immigration status and more. “
In a separate report, the group has also opposed U.S. medical schools filtering out applicants who opposed DEI values.
The group states that it found that “the admissions process at 50 of the top-ranked medical schools found that 36 asked applicants their views on, or experience in, DEI efforts” to “screen out dissenters.”
Most U.S. medical schools currently have some DEI and diversity courses incorporated into their curriculums. Some now give an alternative hippocratic oath pledging social justice and anti-racist action.
Another reason to leave Allopathic medicine for other alternatives.
If you’re a Doctor and agree some humans are more equal than others, I’d rather never cross paths with you.
But I’d sure like to talk with you after being treated in your time of need by the same unjust standard you waged against others.
