Need for Medical Dissent but Personal Prices Paid in Today's Upside-down World
#95 The Rowen Report
Dear Subscriber,
I am very sad tonight. I’ve had a nice long relationship with a particular physician health professional, and find I can no longer discuss matters related to COVID or the vaccine. I see our relationship as a victim of the efforts of those in power to divide and conquer us. Now, to be fair, this professional is seeing striking cases of COVID affecting his/her specialty. And maintains that the serious cases are only in the unvaccinated. To this doctor, it is heartbreaking and he/she blames doctors who question the vaccine for spreading misinformation. The net result is I cannot have a professional relationship anymore. This is interesting in that when the disease first broke out, this doctor was FOR a short lockdown to prevent mass breakdown of the health care system, despite lack of any science in favor of it. Well, we got the lockdown – not just a few weeks, but many months, and at a tragic price to the people of the nation.
Now, with omicron, this doctor’s hospital is buckling under pressure and of course, the unvaccinated are blamed. The doctor wants a “three week” lockdown to slow down the frightening pace of admissions. But then surprisingly admits that they (the authorities) “shot their wad” with the first lockdown which was an abject failure and a second lockdown would not be tolerated. This doctor also admits that most admissions now are vaccinated but counters that all serious disease is in the unvaxxed. The doctor is in favor of “boosters”, which multiple vaccinations are now reported to double myocarditis with multiple shots! Well, to me, it is an open admission that the vaccine does not work as advertised. The virus, in its interest to survive, has learned to evade current antibodies, which fade away, anyway, after just a few months. However, here is a worrisome article that the doctor would never read, because it would not fit into the comfortable paradigm of those who want vaccination and forced vaxxing. I will copy and paste a few relevant sections from the article. Now I am not a mathematician nor a statistician. It is possible that the author did not interpret data correctly. But I doubt it. Those of you here who are into statistics, please look if you have the time.

“””Worldwide Bayesian Causal Impact Analysis of Vaccine Administration on Deaths and Cases Associated with COVID-19: A Big Data Analysis of 145 Countries Kyle Beatie, University of Alberta. (the author describes himself as follows: ∗Kyle A. Beattie is a Political Science PhD student with a focus on corruption studies.)
The statistically significant and overwhelmingly positive causal impact after vaccine deployment on the dependent variables total deaths and total cases per million should be highly worrisome for policy makers. They indicate a marked increase in both COVID-19 related cases and death due directly to a vaccine deployment that was originally sold to the public as the “key to gain back our freedoms.” The effect of vaccines on total cases per million and its low positive association with total vaccinations per hundred signifies a limited impact of vaccines on lowering COVID-19 associated cases. These results should encourage local policy makers to make policy decisions based on data, not narrative, and based on local conditions, not global or national mandates. These results should also encourage policy makers to begin looking for other avenues out of the pandemic aside from mass vaccination campaigns.
The results of this study taken together demonstrate a product that directly causes more COVID-19 associated cases and deaths than otherwise would have existed with zero vaccines. Consequently, these experimental gene therapy injections known as COVID-19 vaccines cannot be mandated by any public policy that intends to continue following the regulations of the Nuremberg Code (Code 1998), the Helsinki Accords (Association and others 2009), and the Human Rights Declaration on Bioethics (UNESCO 2019).
This study provides various suggestions for different forms of future research on this topic.
As mentioned above, a future study utilizing these methods, but looking at all-cause mortality rates rather than total deaths/cases per million will provide better pre-intervention data (as it goes back decades in some cases), which will be useful for prediction of trend lines. It will also provide a better understanding of the overall causal impact of COVID-19 vaccine administration on the general health of the population rather than just the causal impact on COVID-19 associated deaths and cases.”””
I thought this preprint document would be of value to you. It mirrors the message I have conveyed for 20 years about vaccination. I am not against vaccination. I am against forced vaccination. I am in favor of getting data on all-cause mortality and morbidity on all vaccines, now particularly the COVID vaccine. And not depending on the decrepit VAERS system which even CDC admits is hopelessly underreported. This has to be done prospectively, and, in my ethical opinion, must be done before vaccines are forced (but regardless, I am against forced vaccination of any kind). But, in the mind of the doctor mentioned above, you have a “duty” to society to get the vaccine for yourself and your children. Hence, you have a duty to place yourself and your child in harm’s way for everyone else. Forget your personal situation. The hive is most important.
I deeply lament the loss of a friendly disagreeable conversation about vaccines and medicine with my colleague, who commented that contrary information is “right wing”. I did not know until this week that findings in science that go against the mainstream are now “right wing”. You can be sure that even the underreported tens of thousands of VAERS reported deaths/injuries did not participate in the conclusions of this doctor. The suffering of the survivors of the deaths and injuries are not placed into the equation of those who might see such reports as “right wing”. Since medicine and news is now so politicized and polarized, about all we can talk about safely is the weather and fun things family might be doing.
I close with this report with an article published on the need for dissent in science. Even our Founders recognized the need for dissent politically. But in medicine, to dissent is heresy to the Church of Modern Medicine, and is met with shunning or more draconian response. The strangest thing is that the doctor recognizes that the vaccines don’t prevent spread of infection. At best, they make the disease less severe. But, anyone not vaxxed to this doctor is a threat to the doctor (vaccinated) and the doctor’s progeny. I don’t get the logic.

Scientific dissent and public policy
Is targeting dissent a reasonable way to protect sound policy decisions?
Abstract
Dissent is crucial for the advancement of science. Disagreement is at the heart of peer review and is important for uncovering unjustified assumptions, flawed methodologies and problematic reasoning. Enabling and encouraging dissent also helps to generate alternative hypotheses, models and explanations.
To Your Excellent Health,
Robert Jay Rowen, MD
So sorry for your friendship. It is like people are hypnotized when you try to get them to absorb scientific data!
Good Bless you sir.I am sorry for the loss you are feeling. Please continue on with strength are perseverance .You have been a light in this dark tunnel of fear and misinformation that we have been traveling thru for over 2 years now. I have been a nurse since 1983 and was terminated from My job on 10/28/21 due to my not adhering to the State of Maine's covid vaccine mandate. We are living in evil times .But we must persist and speak the truth . I appreciate all you do. Sincerely , Karen G
