Dear Subscriber,
First, I want to thank you for all your support on this page. It is growing and your sharing is having an impact. Terri and I remain humbled at many of the comments and responses. I do encourage new subscribers to check out our YouTube channel to see in real time some events we do consider miracles.
A few matters of comment and clean up.
FIrst, Dr. Kenners report on enzymes was very well received. Thank you. Please know that you can use the code “Dan” to get a discount on the links he provided.
Next, I recorded my second podcast with Lucas Dean this afternoon. It will be available quite soon. I am hoping to bring a series of podcasts and interviews to you that will enhance all aspects or your lives, and perhaps give you some political thought as well.
Finally, speaking of political thought, something sad to us happened this week, and right on this page. You might recall a post last week where I addressed the PROCESS of what is going on with the former President. Please note that I did not endorse Trump. In fact, I have posted repeatedly that from a medical perspective I was very disappointed in his approach to COVID, as I have been with the current administration. In this matter, I merely focused on the government seeming to make thoughts and expression of thoughts and beliefs into a crime. I believe it sends us into chaos.
What resulted from that post, to me, is an on point example into what this nation is rapidly descending into. One subscriber here openly scorned me, publicly stating she was cancelling her subscription for the outrageous post, and further, firing our office as physician after a 10 year relationship. I cannot discuss any of her medical issues here - that would violate confidentiality. However, her messages were public about her feelings about my post, and walking away from this page, even after we provided her discount codes and priceless information on the page, not requiring a visit! She posted that there was a 10 year professional relationship. Logic suggests that our work did well by her and hers. And any and all success due to our knowledge and style of practice is now willingly sacrificed in making a statement to us that she would not tolerate anything that might address matters on the former president that did not. mirror her apparent disdain for him.
Is this what our nation is descending into? That people now will potentially risk themselves, their lives/health over objecting to a political matter? My daddy used to say “So, you are cutting your nose to spite your face” when I would sit in the corner to “punish” him for something he might have said or done which upset me, that I did not consider “politically correct”. I repeat that I believe we are more divided now than anytime since 1861, and. you all know what we descended into then.
One of her comments was: “Thank you Herb. We all have to make our own choices regarding our healthcare and we choose to support people who are not into subverting our democracy.” My response is, that I learned in basic civics class in high school, that we were not founded as a “democracy” which is mob rule. We were founded as a Republic, but have descended into the “democracy” our Founders feared. And, I have to ask when questioning a process has become “subverting”. And what about how the mainstream press in now openly discussing the millions in apparent bribes to powerful family, which the same mainstream press totally blacked out, or otherwise spewed misinformation when some of these matters first came to light years ago - such as the widespread claim that the laptop was all Russian disinformation. I do think that millions of Americans are now boycotting these bogus outlets, which report their well coordinated opinions and mental manipulation as “news”.
I do very much wish this family well. Boycotting Bud Light for their spoken (advertising) behavior is free speech. So is cancelling a subscription to these reports and/or cancelling services for spoken words. I respect free speech, and such behaviors are excellent aspects of free speech. But I must opine, though, that it is a sadder day for the country when we cannot respectfully discuss differences, and respectfully honor differences and differences of opinions, and the right to have divergent views, than Turing one’s back and storming away.
It is evident that anyone who chooses to attend our clinic and/or read this page would do so for its “different” opinion from the mainstream. Now imagine what medical choice would be like if such differences were not tolerated by our “democracy”. (Democracy means 51 control the 49). Imagine what medicine would be like if the majority could simply stomp on and squash the minority. I can give you a concrete example of that as well. An in-office colleague had his license revoked for giving medical waivers for school vaccines AFTER doing genetic testing on children to assess risk. This is how the system honored his difference of opinion - firing him from his God given right to livelihood and service to humanity. Not to dissimilar to us being fired for an opinion that was not forced on anyone, and did not have to be read. Hopefully for her sake, this lady will have a prepared political questionnaire to submit to the next medical office.
I do close with this note about the “attack on the Capitol” and “subverting our democracy”. This is a statement of fact and not to defend or attack anyone.
Clearly Trump knew there was going to be mass protests on January 6. It appears that others did as well. NPR, not known for conservative leanings, reported:
“The former chief of U.S. Capitol Police says security officials at the House and Senate rebuffed his early requests to call in the National Guard ahead of a demonstration in support of President Trump that turned into a deadly attack on Congress.”
The mainstream press has done a magnificent job in programming the minds of an ignorant people with COVID misinformation to political misinformation, possibly including January 6. Just look at the border crisis and the skyrocketing deaths from Fentanyl, and how the divisiveness in Congress by shunning the other side is directly contributing to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of our people in this new “opium war”.

I read your post last week. I re-read it just now, and frankly still can't see what it is exactly that she is upset about.
I've been following you for a long time, you have a long history of being careful about stating political opinions.
In a reply, you said you're entitled to your opinions, which is true. . .but frankly the majority of your post were simple statements of fact.
I'm certainly no fan of the orange man, but it should be clear to any objective observer that much of what's going on is politically motivated.
I think I disagree with the statement that we're descending into a pure democracy. Certainly yes, we have strayed far from the framer's vision of a republic. But what I see now is rule by plurality (or relative majority), where the most vocal (or most well funded) minority group wins. For example, woke extremists are a very small minority, but seem to be gaining so much power. And control by technocrats and media, all forms of oligarchy (rule of the few).
Dr Rowan. I am 81 ( a retired business owner), married to a dentist. We have seen the change of our true republic morph into something we don't recognize.. Thank you for standing up for humanity- and in this case, Americans. Very few have your fortitude, and moreover, the aptitude and intellect to make an effort to say the truth. Yes, we shall very potentially see one day our freedoms have vanished. People such as you, risk their lives and their professions. You don't need this type of insult--- and could very easily negate it by just keeping quiet. God Bless you for being there for all of my grandchildren- and even with your efforts, I see the negative trend as being the same, if not worse. You are older- and wiser. I hope there are others with your comprehensive knowledge that can carry the flag with the strength to do so. Probably the average person has no idea what we have already lost unless they are 81. You see, I know the difference.
