Dear Subscriber,
Estrogen dominance is not necessarily a good thing. For women, it can mean higher risk of breast and uterine cancer. For men - ED, prostate issues, man-boobs, etc. We currently are bathed in estrogen “sewage” from corporate chemical pollution.
Dr. Dan jumps deeply into this topic. It is a good read for both sexes. Both sexes need both estrogens and androgens. But, what we need is the ratio the Creator intended. We don’t have that anymore. And, I, for one, am convinced that gender dysphoria is largely a result of man’s corruption of the environment.
Please enjoy the excellent report on the topic from Dan Kenner.

Estrogen Dominance
Estrogen dominance is the condition of an increased estrogen to progesterone ratio in the body. Estrogen dominance may be the result of overproduction of estrogen by the body, changes in estrogen metabolism and excretion, or an imbalance in the estrogen to progesterone ratio, such as occurs at the early stages of menopause.
Typical signs of estrogen dominance are:
· Anxiety, mood swings, and/or depression, including postnatal depression.
· Decreased sex drive.
· Dry eyes and/or skin.
· Weight gain, especially around the abdomen, hips, and thighs.
· Fatigue or low energy.
· Fertility issues, including endometriosis, PCOS, and/or uterine fibroids.
· Cystic breasts
· Vaginal dryness
· Headaches
· Water retention
It’s an important factor in breast and uterine cancers, fibroids, endometriosis, and polycystic ovarian syndrome, and uterine myoma. Doctors have for decades routinely told women with cystic breasts not to drink coffee because it supports estrogen dominance. This is at the core of the difficulty in treating this condition. The necessary changes in lifestyle can be demanding, if not overwhelming. And dietary restrictions can go far beyond caffeine consumption.
Sources of phytoestrogens:
· Unfermented soy products, especially tofu
· Coffee
· Flax seeds (linseed)
· Oats
· Lentils
· Legumes (peanuts, beans, peas)
· Apples
· Herbs
o Red clover
o Black cohosh
o Angelica
o Licorice
o Hops
o Horehound
o Alfalfa
o Sage
It's also important to remember that there is a high level of daily exposure to a large number of estrogen-like compounds, called xenoestrogens. Estrogen pollution is increasingly present all around us, from plastics to canned food and drinks, food additives, household cleaning products, and pesticides. And estrogen levels are rising in our waterways as a result of the runoff from factory animal farms and disposal of pharmaceuticals in waste water.
Sources of xenoestrogens include:
· Water (tap water and bathing)
· Pesticides, herbicides and insecticides, including glyphosate as found in conventional food, and even tampons.
· Cleaning products (home and industrial)
· Plastics (food, beverages, storage containers, non-food packaging and industrial plastics)
· Canned foods
· Dental sealants
· Laundry products (detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, etc.)
· Hair dyes
· Nail polish and nail polish removers
· Personal care products (shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, moisturizer, body wash, etc.)
· Perfume
· Sunscreen
· Building materials off-gassing
· Home furnishings (including furniture, carpets, window drapes, mattresses/foams, bedding)
Treatment:
Some uterine myomas resolve naturally as estrogen production diminishes. In menopause, progesterone levels are often the first to decline, resulting in estrogen dominance and the appearance of myomas. As the estrogen level gradually decreases, the neoplasms often disappear spontaneously without intervention.
Stress promotes estrogen dominance. The condition of the liver is important. The liver not only synthesizes estrogens and androgens from cholesterol, but it also breaks them down through what is called the enterohepatic cycle. The liver binds the estrogens and transports them to the bowel to be dismantled by intestinal bacteria. A lack of intestinal flora or intestinal flora not of the type to effectively break down estrogen could compromise this process resulting in recirculation of estrogens. Compromised liver function can also affect the efficiency of estrogen breakdown.
The exposure to phytoestrogens and xenoestrogens complicates treatment such that successful outcomes are sporadic.
Topical progesterone can be useful, especially when also administered orally. Two companies, Wise Woman Herbals and Women’s International Pharmacy, are useful resources for products and consultation.
Botanical medicine (phytotherapy) has been successfully used for treating uterine myoma. Optimization of lifestyle conditions is a prerequisite for success. The Chinese herbal combination “Bupleurum and Peony Combination”; kamishoyosan) has been used for estrogen dominance, PMS and menopausal depression for centuries (www.ormedinstitute.com).
Phytotherapy:
Chaste tree (Vitex agnus castus), giant redwood (Sequoia gigantea), prickly ash (Fraxinus excelsior), and mistletoe (Viscum album) are estrogen blockers.
Saw palmetto (Serenoa repens), African prune (Pygeum africanum), nettle, strawberry (Fragaria vesca). It is possible that Pygeum has a phytoestrogenic potential that interferes with estrogen signaling, but this has not been firmly established.
Lady’s mantle (Alchemilla vulgaris) and Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) are progesterone agonists. Thyroid support also promotes progesterone synthesis.
In Japan, two Kampo formulas have been clinically tested for treatment of uterine myoma: Keishibukuryogan and Tōkishakuyakusan. Results showed limited success, but it’s important to consider that the Japanese diet is rich in iodine, seafood, and fermented foods and plays a significant role in their longevity. Having this kind of diet could be a factor in successful outcomes from phytotherapy treatment protocols. The East Asian medical classification of “blood stasis” is considered to be the main diagnostic target of treatment. Inclusion of herbal extracts that “vitalize blood” are an important component of the therapeutic strategy. The combination Kyūkikyōgaitō is used when there is bleeding.
These formulas are also used in China as well as numerous others, especially Xiao Liu Fang (Mass reducing formula) and Huoxue Sanjie decoction.
In German Biological Medicine, Mucokehl and Nigersan rectal suppositories are used in daily alternation with one capsule of Utilin S taken once a week. These are all administered an hour away from food. Reduction of dietary protein is also recommended, dairy and pork in particular.
Caffeine has been recognized as a factor in estrogen dominance, but changes in lifestyle can be demanding, if not overwhelming. And dietary restrictions can go far beyond caffeine consumption.
It’s hard to avoid many of these items, some of which are used daily by many people, but there are many conditions where it is of vital importance to be aware.

Dr. Joseph Mercola just interviewed Georgi Dinkov and they talked about Estrogen & Serotonin it was excellent. Mercola pulls his stuff quickly and reposts on Rumble.

There are over-the-counter estrogen blockers (aromatase inhibitors) like DIM; wonder why that wasn't mentioned?
