Dear Reader,
I am begging for your help to save yourselves. The tyrannical bills just never end in California and a bill to zipper the mouths of physicians has passed its first committee. If this bill passes, doctors like me could be disciplined and lose our ability to serve you simply for being years ahead of our time or questioning fraudulent science or errant “consensus”. The consensus will be determined by all the hidden powers behind the wizard’s curtain. I don’t like comparing something to “Nazi”. However, in 1940s Germany, speaking against the Nazis could cost you your life. Today in America, speaking against the Pharma paradigm might cost a physician his economic life and the lives of his patients. I simply cannot comprehend how our fall has gotten us so low. Please, please read the below and take action.

California Alert:
Ask Appropriations Committee to Oppose AB 2098
Protect Free Speech of Health Care Practitioners
Dear AAPS Members and Friends,
Earlier this year we alerted you to a dangerous bill, AB 2098, that has been introduced in the California legislature. If passed, this measure will punish physicians who seek to publicly speak out about issues that directly impact their patients' well-being.
For example, under AB 2098, physicians who advocate for the potential benefits of early treatment with off-label drugs, or who ask questions about COVID vaccine safety, could be charged with unprofessional conduct for promoting "misinformation or disinformation" and lose their medical license.
Physicians must not be coerced into blindly following the establishment "consensus" and refraining from entering into debate that is crucial to advancing both science and rational public health policies.
This law would be harmful to California patients, the integrity of the medical profession, and the welfare of the entire state.
Unfortunately, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, The California State Assembly Committee on Business and Professions held a hearing where members voted to advance AB 2098.
Now the measure moves on to the House Committee on Appropriations.
Please take a few moments to send a message to committee members asking them to oppose AB 2098.
You can get a message on the way with just a couple clicks using this link: https://p2a.co/y4dthMq
Thank you for speaking out! Your voice makes a difference!
