A Possible Treatment for Cognitive Decline? And, at No Charge?
Kenner Rowen Report June 11, 2023
Dear Subscriber,
This post is from Dan Kenner, who has joined our office. He is an acupuncturist, who is heavily into energy therapies and nutritional healing, aside from his work as an acupuncturist.
About a year ago, I read a book on a breakthrough therapy for cognitive decline, including Alzheimer’s. It featured the life work of Dayan Goodenowe on a nutrient called plasmalogens. It was stunning to me that this fatty acid like molecule could hold hope for stabilizing and even reversing many neurodegenerative problems, which otherwise have no hope in conventional medical chemical therapy.
Dr. Kenner has a supply of plasmalogens and is seeking to do some objective evaluations of people over 60 with cognitive decline challenges, and provide plasmalogen supplement at no charge. This is quite exciting to me. I’ve wanted to see plasmalogens at work for the sad condition of cognitive decline. If you know someone in Northern California who might be a good candidate after reading the information below, please call our office at 707-578-7787 and leave a message for Dr. Kenner.
To Your Excellent Health,
Robert Jay Rowen, MD
The Kenner-Rowen Newsletter: The Brain Gauge
The Brain Gauge is a cognitive assessment tool that measures brain health by testing sensory perceptions in the fingertips. The detection device is very easy to use and resembles a mouse. While medical imaging is a useful tool for identifying whether relatively large areas of the brain are injured, this tool is very good at identifying subtle changes in brain function. The Brain Gauge tests speed: How quickly the brain reacts to stimulation; Focus: The brain’s ability to concentrate on the task at hand; Fatigue: How quickly the brain tires out under stress; Accuracy: Tests the brain’s ability to make small distinctions; Plasticity: The brain’s ability to adapt to change and other parameters.
I am testing volunteers, with normal, I should say “typical” memory loss and cognitive decline. These are average people age 60 and older with no cognitive disease diagnosis who are experiencing memory loss. Volunteers will receive a free supply of a Japanese product that contains “plasmalogens.” Plasmalogens, like omega-3 fatty acids, are nutrients and components of the brain. The quantity of plasmalogens in the brain declines beginning around age 60, but can be resupplied with this supplement. The researcher and author of the book, Breaking Alzheimer’s, Dr. Dayan Goodenowe, went so far as to say that plasmalogens are the cure for Alzheimer’s disease.
You can come to the clinic to be tested with the Brain Gauge for free if you will take the free plasmalogen supplement every day and agree to be retested with the Brain Gauge after using it for four weeks.

"Normal" decline has no definition. I suggest normal anything is just an opinion. I would describe normal cognitive decline as forgetting words that are usually considered familiar; asking yourself 'Why did I come into this room?'; Asking, 'Where did I put my keys (my phone, my reading glasses, etc.)?'
I would like to be in this study but unfortunately I live in Missouri. I assume that you will keep us updated as time passes with the results and responses to the nutrients that are used.
