Dear Subscriber,
I have a real treat for you today. I just posted a podcast featuring stem cell specialist Dr. Todd Ovokaitys. I think it is worth a watch, the entire video. I am going to summarize it briefly here for all subscribers, and then after a paywall break, get into finer details for the Premium subscribers. However, all have access to the podcast on YouTube, and you miss nothing and get even more than I can post here.
When the sperm meets the egg, the cell is what we call “totipotent”. For a short number of divisions (up to 30 cells), each cell can make a complete organism. After so many divisions, the cells become “pluripotent”. They can differentiate into any tissue, but cannot create a complete functional organism.
As the cells further differentiate, they evolve into organs. But some cells do not fully differentiate and remain “primitive”, meaning at a future time, they could differentiate into any cell line they are still capable of. I’ll explain that down below.
He uses a particular type of stem cell called VSEL or very small embryonic -like stem cell. Fortunately, these cells have differentiated past the possibility of forming a tumor, but still have the ability to differentiate into any cell, including neuron. They integrate into, and become the tissue they find themselves in. So, if they stop at brain, they become neurons. If pancreas, perhaps islet cells (insulin producing cells). Dr. Todd is actually working on a project to have these cells revert to egg or sperm cells! They are “germ layer” derived. The germ layer is the first differentiation of a conception. The germ layer then further differentiates to three layers: endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm.
Most stem cells used today are from mesoderm. They are already committed to become muscle, fat, cartilage, ligament. They cannot become brain or skin (ectoderm), lung, intestinal or liver (endoderm). However, the VSELS can go on to become any of the three lines!
I will explain below why these cells are favored, in his opinion, and far superior to umbilical cord cells or your own extracted fat or bone marrow stem cells.
Dr. Todd’s methods involve use of a laser he calls the SONG Laser – singing the “song” of the stem cell. The VSELS get activated by the laser. Furthermore, he can increase the count of the cells from perhaps 800,000 per cc of blood to 2 million, not by the cells dividing, but by removing a protein which hampers their ability to be counted.
He “trains” the cells with the laser. Then, when returning them to the same donor, he guides the cells to the target site with the laser. When the cells arrive, they stop, begin an adhesion process; and the local “climate” and cell to cell communications assist in differentiating the VSELS to the the cells of the organ or tissue, providing abundant youthful cells to regenerate and repair the tissue. Think about what this will mean to patients with neurological conditions. And even me, if the process can halt the cells to stop in my macula. And one of the best things about this process is that you don’t have to go through painful bone marrow extraction of harvest from fatty tissue. He can easily get all he needs from a venipuncture!
So, now I will tell you why VSELS may be the Rolls Royce of stem cells. If you are not a Premium subscriber, all this information is in the podcast. I am making it a bit easier for the Premium subscribers with a further summary. Dr. Todd’s office can be reached at www.qigenix.com. His URLs are:

Dr. Todd has seen near instant reversal of Parkinson’s disease, restoration of neurological function in a paraplegic man with a spinal cord injury, improvement in vision with macular degeneration, and dramatic improvement in even advanced congestive heart failure. I detail this below after detailing his stem cell approach vs conventional stem cell therapies.
